| Coaches Corner – As I reflect back on the Short Course season I wanted to make sure I recognized the accomplishments of our scoring swimmers at the meets we swam throughout the winter months. At the Meet of Champions in Nashville, TN we had many outstanding performances. We will definitely plan on returning to that meet next year. The Following swimmers score points at that meet:
We then moved on to the Bloomington Winter Invitational at Indiana University. Again we put together some great swims and continued to improve. Our scoring athletes were:
The next stop was Crawfordsville, IN for the Sugar Creek Swim Club Paradise Penguin Plunge. It was another fast meet for our swimmers, and we had many scoring performers. Those swimmers were:
We then co-hosted the Circle City Classic at the Natatorium and in a very competitive meet had several swimmers score points.
At the Avon Aquasprints we had tons of point scorers.
At the LST Bearcat Meet the following swimmers scored points:
Our next meet was the Divisional Championships. It is not a point scoring meet, but we had many swimmers reach the podium. Podium finishers were:
At our Senior State Championships we ended up 6th place behind strong swims from these scoring performers.
And finally, at our Age Group State Championships we finished 10th place with scoring swims by the following swimmers.
Congratulations to all of the swimmers who score points at our meets during the short course season. We are ready for some great swims this long course season. |
